This Senior had a phenomenal Central District Tournament last week as he became Liberty's first ever two-time singles District Champion as he also won last year. Hand won his first two matches last Wednesday at Olympic Indoor Center defeating Pickerington North player 6-1, 6-1, then followed this with a 6-0, 6-1, victory over Dublin Coffman. Returning to the Olympic Indoor Center on Saturday for the finals, Hand beat OHS's player 6-2, 6-2, then went onto win the title match vs. Upper Arlington 6-1, 6-2, to secure his second consecutive championship. Hand advances onto the OHSAA Division I State Tournament which begins tomorrow at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Cincinnati.
