Cole Corder, Senior, Golf
Cole Corder is off to an amazing start to this year’s golf season. Through Liberty’s first eight contests he has been the medalist for four of them. His average is 70.3 and this solid play has helped the team win four tournaments, two runner-up finishes, and a fourth place finish. This senior has had the best start of any golfer at Liberty.

Gracie Sprankle, Junior, Girls Cross Country
Gracie is off to a fast start to this year’s Cross Country season. Last Saturday at the Pickerington North Invitational she took 1st place out of over 360 runners. Her winning time of 18:11.7 set a new Junior class Liberty High School record. The previous Saturday in the OHSAA Pre-Season Meet she ran a time of 18:26 to win the Division I race which was the 5th best time in meet history.

Alissa Thornton, Senior, Cheerleading
This senior spearheaded the Hunter McClelland and Gavin Schlotterbeck Memorial Tribute this past week at Liberty High School. As one of our senior captains she did an awesome job of coordinating various fundraising activities, working with local media, and organizing students and teams to help with this event. Due to her leadership, more than $5,000.00 was raised in five days for a permanent memorial to be placed at Liberty High School for Hunter and Gavin.
