In the first home meet of the season the Liberty Boys & Girls teamed up to take down state champion Dublin Coffman. The Liberty boys put in a great showing in front of the rowdy home crowd, taking first in 6 of the 12 events.
Double Event winner on the night was senior Christian Hosler in the 50 Free (22.41) & the 100 fly (54.87)
Single Event winners including: sophomore Hudson Williams in the 200 IM (1:56.79), sophomore Aiden Gaier in the 100 free (51.09)
Relay winners for the Patriot Boys include: the 200 Free Relay led by Mason Miller, Aiden Gaier, Christian Hosler, & Noah Rumburg (1:32.43) and the 400 Free Relay with the team of Hudson Williams, Aiden Gaier, Christian Hosler & Isaac Wolfe (3:25.94)

The Lady Patriots took Coffman to the wire in a close loss to the reigning state champions.
Liberty stayed within striking distance the entire meet taking second and third in most of their events.
Highlights include junior Meggie Gehring (27.00) & junior Amelia Wells (27.44) in the 50 free, sophomore Nina Racke (56.35) & junior Kirin Loughrey (56.99) in the 100 free, and finally sophomore Morgan Lisch in the 100 breaststroke (1:18.15)
Olentangy Liberty moves to 4-1 on the season with Big Walnut coming to town this Saturday, January 16th at 3:30PM.
