Girls track has strong showing at first tri meet of the season.

Powell OH, The lady Patriots started the season on Monday April 1st in a tri meet verse Dublin Scioto and Grandview Heights.  The conditions were sunny with a chill in the air. The lady Patriots won the meet with a score of 97 pts followed by Grandview Heights 42 pts and Dublin Scioto 30.5 points.

Liberty has 8 Track & Field Athletes Advance to OHSAA State Meet

Liberty’s Boys and Girls Track & Field teams have had an outstanding season and 8 of their athletes will continue on following their performances last week in the highly competitive Regional Meet at Pickerington North. The State Meet is held at OSU’s Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium this Friday and Saturday. Congratulations to these individuals and best of luck

Liberty Baseball, Boys Volleyball, Track and Field Advance to Regional Finals

For the third time in the last five years, Baseball advanced to the Regional Final game with a thrilling 3-2 win over Lancaster yesterday! The Patriots also defeated Westerville North, Olentangy Orange and Marysville in earlier round tournament games. Brennan Rowe, Sophomore, Baseball  This Sophomore had two outstanding performances last week to help the Patriots capture their 3rd District Title in the last five years.  In the District Semi-Final game vs. Orange he went 1-3 with an RBI in the 2-1 victory. Sydney Englehart, Senior, Track & Field This senior’s all-around performance helped lead the Patriot in winning the competitive Marion Night Invitational last Friday.  She finished 1st in the 400m (59.14), 200m (26.05), and 4×200 Relay (1:46.29).
